FINAL COURSE PROJECT PRESENTATION E-BUSINESS MGMTL 6003 SPRING 2016

Dear E-business students

Kindly form yourselves into groups of FOUR. Project presentation should start by Wednesday 1st of June 2016.
Reports of the presentation deadline submission, paper & email copy, is one academic day before your final exam date.
You are requested to choose one form only.



              E-BUSINNESS FINAL COURSE PROJECT
MGMTL 6003: SPRING 2016

1- Instead of creating a new e-business, choose a website of a well-known company (e-business). State the website model of your chosen company. Examine how the web site is designed to achieve their objectives.

You are requested to analyze the chosen website based on the following questions:

  1. Briefly discuss and show on your web page:
    1. The   company’s mission (reflects the business purpose),
    2. The nature of the business,
    3. The online services offered to the market and the characteristics of your market segment.

  1. Define  for your chosen  e-business web site:
    1. The URL of your chosen website (domain name,..)
    2. The Brand Name and (or) Logo
    3. E-Business transactions models (B2C,B2B,….)
    4. E-Business model (example, show it in web page)

  1. Briefly discuss how the e-business is planned to operate, as far as the following elements are concerned
                                          i.    legal issues (copy rights, trade marks & liability and customer information privacy)
                                        ii.    Electronic payment methods
                                       iii.    Tools used to Enhance the User Experience (zoom, magnifier,..)
                                       iv.    Web site design (proper background, color scheme and layout of your home page for your web page, …)       

  1.  Describe the relevant marketing tools used to promote the site and encourage its usage; and discuss how these tools may increase consumer satisfaction.

  1.  One of the tactics used to acquire customers and generate sales and business is to operate an affiliate program. Discuss what types of affiliate program your chosen company is targeting and what type are created?

  1.  Briefly discuss the customer relationship management tools used in the site and evaluate their impact on increasing your loyalty.

  1.  As far as e-business is concerned, safety, security, privacy, and accuracy are among the greatest concern.  Demonstrate that the chosen website is meeting your customer’s concerns.

If you have an e-business idea, and you want to try to create your own business without needs of programing knowledge. You can benefit from some web sites that provide free templates and help, in order to create your own e-business.
We list below some examples of such web sites.
