MRKTL 2001 Principles of Marketing
Final Project
Fall 2016


Choose a specific high level involvement product from a specific company and answer the following questions:
 

1.      Write a brief Historical background about the company
2.      Construct a mission statement of this company of your chosen product
3.  Explain the level of needs the chosen brand name product satisfy (Maslow).
4.     Discuss the type of the buying decision behavior your chosen brand name product falls into.
5.   Discuss the consumers profile (characteristics) adopting your chosen brand name (market segment).
6.      Explain your perceptual map and the positioning process of the chosen brand product.
7.      Explain the three levels of the chosen product.
8.      Discuss the current life cycle stage of your chosen brand name product; analyze the characteristics of that stage and its marketing implications.
9.      Discuss the product mix of the company producing your chosen product.
10.  Describe the product line.
11.  Discuss brand development strategy; which brand strategy you think that the producer of your chosen brand name product follows? Comment on the choice.
12.  Identify the possible target audiences; the communication objective; the buyer-readiness stage of the target audience and the IMC elements used by the producer of your chosen brand name product?
13.  Discuss the distribution Channel level that the producer of your chosen brand name product applies? Which kind of distribution system does it apply? And which distribution channel does it follow?
14.  What are the price objectives and strategies of your chosen brand name product apply?
15.  Give your own marketing recommendations.

You should submit a project of no more than 20 single-spaced pages and not less than 15 pages. Header and footer plus a cover page are obligatory. The font size is 12 and Times New Roman. Try to insert some pictures of your product chosen.
